For service calls related to network problems on Comcast institutional and business-to-business networks, your IT/network personnel should call our Local Management Center, or LMC, (which was formerly the Broadband Service Assurance Center [BSAC]) at 503-617-1212 (or toll-free from outside the Portland metropolitan area: 866-292-9711).

When you make a service call to Comcast's LMC, please identify the following for them:

  • Tell the LMC rep that you're calling about a network problem on an "I-Net." This is a generic term we're using for all of our networks, and differentiates your call from any and all other calls to Comcast's service organization.
  • Tell the LMC rep the community in which your organization is based.
  • Give the LMC rep your name, phone number(s), and the name of your organization.
  • Give the LMC rep the location(s) of the site(s) that are affected.
  • Give the LMC rep a brief description of the problem. You'll also be asked to indicate the relative severity (service impact) of the problem.
